Understanding Hypnosis
- Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness where neither you are awake nor sleeping. Here you get connected with your central/focal environment with diminished awareness of peripheral environment.
- Day dreaming is an example of hypnotic state.
- Human mind is very powerful and when focused and concentrated centrally, it becomes exceptionally powerful.
- During hypnosis – the physical body goes under deep relaxation and we achieve calm, quiet and pleasant state of mind- where in we can use our own inner potential , become more receptive to the presented ideas and can have a greater impact on our physiological and biological processes.
- Hypnosis is not a magic; neither a supernatural power nor a ‘mantra’ used by a Hypnotist. Rather it is said that every Hypnosis is a ‘Self Hypnosis’ where person undergoes hypnosis with his own willingness.
